This house is all newly renovated down to the studs. New roof, new siding, new windows, new plumbing & electrical, new furnace and AC unit, new water heater, newly renovated kitchen with new cabinets and counter tops, new bathrooms, new flooring, and all freshly painted. The foundation is a poured concrete perimeter footing with a pressure treated wall on top. The wall consists of 2 layers of 6 mil construction plastic stapled to a 3/4 pressure treated plywood. The plywood is affixed to pressure treated 2x6 wall studs. The drywall was removed recently during the remodel and the foundation was inspected. No problems were found. No decay or mold was present. It also has a drain tile perimeter drain installed with clean outs at each window well. It is non traditional but it is an acceptable foundation.
